b. Well…IT WAS LIKE PULLING TEETH. He hardly spoke.
a. You mean he didn’t say anything?
b. Just about. The conversation was going in only one direction with me asking questions and he just saying, “Yes” or “No”.
a. So, what did you do?
b. What did I do? What could I do? I ended the conversation and walked off.
a. Really? I heard he was born and raised overseas, so maybe his English isn’t very good…or maybe, he’s just really shy.
b. I didn’t know that…I wish I had known that before I spoke with him. Now, I feel really bad. He probably thinks that I’m rude or impatient.
