Kaeyae Alo (@kaeyae.alo) is a Zimbabwean born, Calgary-based musician that seriously inspires all the feels with her smooth + moody vocals. After a series of singles, Kaeyae recently released her first EP, titled 17times (which after listening to the podcast you’ll come to understand has significant meaning). At 13 minutes, the EP feels like a poetic reflection – which it is – but it’s only a fraction of the depth of Kaeyae, which I learned through her story in this month’s podcast.
