As my eyes stir awake
and I gather to the now,
as my limbs stride on forth
and my mind settles down.
I look up to the sky
and I swallow the open air,
then I relax my eyes shut
with my soul’s love aware.
My breath slowly falls
and I allow my eyes to see,
I take a look around
at the people Love will free.
I listen to the waves
and hear the sounds of God,
and the people all around
playing his own songs.
As my eyes close to sleep
and I gather to the now,
as my body lays to rest
and my mind settles down.
I think about the sky
and I breathe the open air,
then I drift away to sleep
with my soul still aware;
Love will free.
