HAPPY JULY 4TH FAMILY!
Independence Day best exemplifies the spirit of community and unity in my family as it's our annual get-together date. All 80+ of us choose someone's backyard or Prospect Park to host a massive Dominican cookout. July 4th was never political for us. The bulk of my family is proud and emboldened to celebrate a day off work as citizens of a country that changed their lives. Food, drinks, music, and laughter in that order.
I'm also waiting patiently for the release of Apple's new M2 MacBook Air sometime this month to replace my old personal laptop. I have three episodes in the queue once I get the AirDrop on my work laptop to accept audio files. Network latency is trash.
