I was writing deep into the night a few weeks ago listening to Fela Kuti. Staring out of my panoramic living room window facing Midtown, Manhattan. Within three hours I wrote my greatest piece of writing to date. It's descriptive, confidential, and vindictive. When I dive into these modes where I'm expressing frustrations on personal conundrums, I design cover art for these pieces to make them feel finished. Artwork adds a layer of depth to our writing that we could all benefit from. I'm still working on physically penning these words on paper in blue ink like a real journal I can stuff in my briefcase. I'm too addicted to my laptop =/
