Hello...thanks for listening!
In episode #8 "Do You Hate Asking for Help?" it has and still is my highest rated episode, so I decided to do another one, Ep #16 titled, "Do You Hate Asking for Help Still?".
I have gotten much better with actually asking for help which I'm happy to say but I have a long way to go!
All of my life I've been raised to be 'self-sufficient', a strong person and a strong woman, that it's a sign of 'weakness' to ask for help, in addition to feeling 'bothersome' and that I don't wanna "hassle" anyone when asking for help.
This is all in my mind as when I put the shoe on the other foot of when someone asks ME for help...the last thing that I feel is bothersome. I usually "spring" right into action before they can finish their sentence! Lol!
For me getting used to asking for help it's doing so more often even if I'm "biting my tongue" and "dragging my feet" the whole time...doing it anyway. Because most (if not all times) when I do I get exactly that, help. Imagine that! haha!
And for those people that do seem to get bothered or don't want to help me when I ask, I make a mental note #1 To evaluate my friendship with that person and #2 Not to ask them again and #3 Focus on those that happily help me with no questions asked! I LOVE those helpers! :)
