When Natalie was discharged from the military, she was a single mom and without a place to live. Despite her experience and skills, she was unable to find a job to pay enough for food and housing. Learn more about her experience including going back to college to finish her degree and her recent work on Healthy Parents Healthy Babies, a report that documents and disseminates strategies to reduce racial disparities, increase housing stability, and improve maternal health, birth outcomes, and child health. Stay tuned for Part 2 coming next Wednesday.
Join the Framework for an Equitable Homelessness Response’s “Healthy Parents Healthy Babies” webinar to discuss the report on September 21 from 12 to 1:30 pm ET. Two of their lived experience committee members will be joining the dialogue. Click here to register or enter the URL -
