As you can probably tell from the Episode title, it was difficult (at least for me) to come up with a clever name to summarize and group all 4 of those topics! So, I figured a longer but very transparent and obvious title was the way to go!!
In this episode, I first start off by summarizing the week before, in which we talked about oak barrels and char levels. I then get into explaining the topics that created the most diverse episode we have had so far, also ended up being the longest at 20+ minutes! I break down proof, by discussing distillation, barreling and bottling. I then talk about Age, a.k.a. maturing and how what happens in the barrel is the important stuff, not the bottle. I then finish up with storage and climate which go hand in hand a bit in regards to where the barrel is at in the warehouse, and how weather impacts that too.
I finish up by reviewing a bourbon of the week, tune in to see which one I reviewed and what rating it received!
Lastly, I ended the show by giving a brief preview of future episodes.
