"I heard recently about a lady that got to wondering why the roast she cooked was always It was a certain had to be a certain size that they always cut the ends off always. And it always had to be a certain size. And she didn't understand why. And so she said to her Mom, why. And her mom said, well, because my mom cut it that size. Well, this lady had four generations still alive, before her. So she went to the grandmother, and said, Why, and the grandmother said, well, because my mom could at that size. And the great grandmother will because my mom cut at that size. And finally, she got to the great, great grandmother. And she said, because that was the size of our stove. The point is that you may have to go back many generations to find out where your preferences or your experiences or your comfort level comes from. So don't be afraid to ask why."
