Description

Have you ever found yourself caught up in the pursuit of balance, only to realize it feels like an elusive goal? Do you ever wonder if there's a different perspective that could make it all feel more manageable? Amy and I often discuss the idea of not believing in balance, but lately, we have been introduced to a helpful mindset shift that has made the biggest mindset shift. It's the mindset to start believing that things like laundry, are ongoing cycles rather than finite tasks. We've come to realize that the laundry is never truly "done"; it just keeps cycling.  We used to put immense pressure on ourselves to complete everything perfectly and on time, but now we understand that some things will always need doing, and that's okay. Recognizing this perpetual cycle has been liberating. It's not about striving for an unattainable endpoint but rather accepting the constant ebb and flow of responsibilities.  Coming to terms with this reality has been the toughest part, but it's also been incredibly freeing.
