Katy talks me through the beginnings of her journey into becoming a business owner. Coming from a career in hospitality, Katy's job was impacted as a result of Covid. Uncertain about the future she ended up using her skills to help businesses in a VA capacity and ended up thriving in the process!
Katy and I chat about the scary time transitioning from employment to working for yourself, the importance of that solid support network and the community feel of being surrounded by other women in business.
We talk about her nerves at her first wedding event, calming down the bride and trying to calm her own nerves! She tells me that she co-ordinated her OWN wedding too!
