Tony Tabona is a creative director from Botswana who is currently living in Sao Paulo, Brazil for the past 2 years with his cat Rio. I was lucky enough to have him as one of the people checking up on me after my trip here had an unexpected delay. A mutual friend put us in contact so I would have someone who knew the city as a point person while here.
Tony has travelled the world working towards bringing business opportunities back home to Africa. One of the projects he is working on now is exporting commodities from Brazil to regions such as Zambia, Zimbabwe, and DRC Congo. It has been a joy to get to hear more of his story over the past few days and see the passion he has for innovation and care for the places he has called home.
