Week 2 of I AM
Teacher: Brad Miller
Shepherds may not be as prevalent in our day and age as they were in Jesus' time, but we understand the difference between someone who truly cares for those he watches and someone just doing a job. Jesus teaches his followers that “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd sacrifices his life for the sheep… I know my own sheep, and they know me.” Jesus is committed to caring and watching over those who are His. He protects His followers as shepherds protect their flocks from predators. Let us learn what it means to hear the voice of our good shepherd.
