Week 4 of Terraform

“Evangelical” politics, media and education are all fighting for Jesus’ empire to win. But you cannot fight an empire with more empire, because the empire always strikes back. Jesus didn’t bring a new empire, he brought the kingdom. The empire says only some parts of the body matter, the kingdom says everybody matters. The empire says there isn’t enough so you have to look out for yourself, but the Kingdom says there is more than enough for you and all of your neighbors. How can we terraform a world that flourishes in God’s kingdom instead of falling prey to empires that seek to control it? How can we ingrain abundance and neighborliness into our homes and societies?
