Sin is not only doing the wrong thing. It is our disordered desires. It is our attempts to fill the voids only God can fill. It can be putting good things in the place of God. It is choosing the wrong partner in the dance of life. Let us consider the things we have put in the place of God, even the good things, that keep us out of step with our Lord.
