Well, Fox manages to take the award for the darkest network on all of television and if you thought it was all whiny, angsty melodrama like Gotham and 24 you may be right, but you may also be deeply disturbed with how hard they follow through with The Following. Listen along as we go on a dark journey of one network's attempt to be simultaneously "real" and also oh so wide of the mark all at the same time. Taking excessive liberties with the portrayal and vilification of the mental imbalanced, but also somehow making a decently compelling story, this episode makes one thing certain: our review of it would sound fantastic on a crisp, clear, Sonos bluetooth speaker. (But for real Vanessa Hudgens, I would gladly bankrupt myself to take you to dinner in an unforgettable evening. Oh, Ps. I watched Powerless, it's great, Dany Pudi, Ron Funches, Alan Tudyk, seriously, solid show.) Also, I lose a fantasy draft between Bellamy and I for best team of gravel voiced actors.
Tune in each Monday as we choose a new show and make more wildly inaccurate assumptions. Okay byeeeeee.
