Happy Monday you beauties! Today we chat with Sharon Gaffka, a former contestant on the highly popular British dating television show, Love Island. Let’s be clear, Sharon is so much more than your typical influencer. She was previously a civil servant, is a brand ambassador for the “Young Women’s Trust" and has been using her platform to lead an anti-spiking campaign with the aim of educating, changing legislation, and better supporting victims.
Sharon talks us through her own experience with being spiked and how she is pushing for more proactive legislation in Parliament. She also chats with us about Love Island, representation on the show, what it’s like being in the media spotlight and dealing with the haters.
