Description

Today we’re speaking to Alice Jackson, co-founder of Strut Safe which is a free UK-wide service dedicated to making women, queer people, people of colour, and anyone who needs to feel safe walking home. Alice is also a writer and activist and was previously Outreach Director at CERT, lobbying for contraceptive reform and better sex and contraceptive education. She has appeared on the BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and Sky News.

We chat to Alice about founding Strut Safe, the state of the MET police, women’s safety, men’s violence against women and how we think we could move forward. Alice is an absolute force and gem of a human being,  this is an episode you won’t want to miss.

*Trigger Warning* This episode contains discussions around sexual violence and harassment.
