Amy started her hospitality career in Atlanta, GA with Marriott International selling for Residence Inn.
A passion for proactive sales and relationship building skills drove her success with Marriott where she received national recognition as Residence Inn’s Sales Manager of the Year, Marriott International’s Multi-Property/Multi-Brand Global Sales Leader of the Year, as well as a team award for Multi-Property/Multi-Brand Global Sales Team of the Year.
She expanded her areas of expertise with two years in Operations, as an Operations Manager and General Manager handling day to day operations as well as revenue management.
Amy discovered a love for teaching as a facilitator for Marriott’s Extended Stay Selling Course, along with various regional training classes such as Sales Negotiating and Mission Possible.
Her strengths are in account saturation, prospecting, relationship building, strategic selling, business/revenue analysis and mentoring new sales managers.
In her current role, Amy oversees the sales, marketing, and ecommerce efforts for Chartwell Hospitality’s portfolio of full service and select service hotels. Amy received her Business Administration degree in Marketing from Tennessee Technological University in Cookeville, TN.
