After spending 12 years in the NLL, Bruce Codd, wasted no time finding his spot on a bench within the league as well. His first stop was as an assistant coach with the Calgary Roughnecks from 2012-2016 before leaving for the same role with the Toronto Rock in the summer of 2016. Recently, he led his hometown Orangeville Jr. B Northmen to back-to-back Founders Cup Canadian Jr. B Championships (2016 and 2017) and has since been elevated to Head Coach of the Orangeville Jr. A Northmen of the OJALL. In 2019 he led that squad to win the Canadian Jr. A Box Championship known as the Minto Cup in 2019..
Furthermore, and much more important to the growth of the game, Bruce currently serves as the Technical Director for the Ontario Lacrosse Association, and supports all minor box coaches across the province within this venture.
