Description

D'Arcy had to take this podcast solo while Mark was on the field with one of the teams he coaches, but what a great episode we have for you.  Andre Talbot played his University Football at Laurier, where he starred with the Golden Hawks and was a back to back First Team All Canadian.  Upon graduating, he embarked on a ten year career in the CFL playing for the Toronto Argos for 9 years followed by one season with the now Edmonton Elks.

Following Football Andre transitioned into running a movement and mindfulness studio called Spirit Loft. Andre epitomizes what it means to be a constant student. He uses his rich athletic experience and specialized trainings through The Prague School of Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS), Agatsu and Fighting Monkey as foundational tools to skillfully assess, train and help human beings in the fields of sport-specific performance, rehabilitation and optimization for life.  Andre has been a program facilitator with the New Leaf Foundation, delivering mindfulness-based life skills practices to support youth mental-emotional regulation and resilience in under-served communities. More recently he has transitioned into leading teaching seminars to help educate the next generation of facilitators.
