Hey Jazer, those are some great tips; thanks! I have to disagree with you on part of your Tip #3. I don't think the money aspect of it is the least bit motivational for me. If I'm not in the mood to practice, the fact that it's costing me money is not going to change my mood, and I see that money as having already been spent (literally, since my school charges my credit card at the beginning of the month for the month's lessons). What DOES motivate me (the second part of your Tip #3) is the thought that I am going to play five pieces for my teacher three days from now, and if I don't practice, I AM GOING TO EMBARRASS MYSELF and generally be very unhappy the whole time I am there. Whereas, if I practice these pieces like crazy, she will be happy, and I will be happy! Motivation successfully located! :-)
Another comment (among many for Jazer Lee's YouTube video). First you played river flows in you . I don't know the second one. Then you played Turkish march. The last one was moonlight sonata 3rd movement.
