Description

During the 1960s, I drove a black, 8 cylinder, 4-door, standard transmission, gas hog with bench seats. Leaded gasoline was 30 cents a gallon at the time in the USA. Even though I lived just ten minutes from the office, I was late every morning. There was free parking on the street next to the building. Each morning I was greeted by the head of the accounting department. Her name was Martha. We worked quietly side by side throughout the day filing, answering phones and taking messages for salesmen. Those were the days. Fond memories.
