Worked 13 hours. Barely moved from the desk all day. Got told off for our coding work being shit. By the guy who I’ve been handing everything in late to. Doh. Sent off another project tonight that was at least sent in it’s due date - but I didn’t know it existed until two business days ago, so I bet the coding we did on it will be crap and it will also be flagged as being lousy work. Doh. Took a break to do a beachy with mum in the evening. She pointed out the gravel that they’d put in on each side of the speed hump at Pickering Point.
“Yeah - I noticed that yesterday. Did you just notice it now?”
— No, I noticed it yesterday as well but I didn’t mention it.
“Isn’t life great? If some new gravel on the sides of a speed hump is the highlight of our day.. our week.. month and year? I wouldn’t be dead for quids! Are you kidding me - and miss all this!?”
