YKTV Show Notes
In episode 6 of YKTV, Leah and Brittany interview Lequwan James MSN, FNP-C. Quawn was raised in a small town playing ever sport he could until he got a partial scholarship to a D1 school to play football. He ultimately dropped to a smaller school to focus on his studies to then graduate as a Nurse Practitioner. He worked in the ER while going out for the NFL where, moves into the body building world all while going back to school. He’s worked in substance abuse clinics for years helping those who need it most. Quawn speaks about racial profiling and stigmas as a black man living in the south. Taking advantage of the social stance happening nationally at the moment, Quawn has opened his own practice, Gentle Giant Care, where he treats patients with hormone therapy, PRP, and joint rejuvenation. We are thrilled to have Quawn on this show and hope you enjoy our conversation.
