Our goal here at The Shenanigans Sports Podcast is to entertain you. Now some stuff may make you laugh and some stuff may make you mad but hopefully, it all makes you feel some type of way, as we debate our opinions on what’s hot in the world of sports entertainment from the perspective of real fans.
And with that being said fellas, what a time. We got a fully loaded episode for you today starting with a great night of action in last nights UFC 264 battle between Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier with Poirier proving to be the dominant fighter in this trilogy. We also had the start of the NBA Finals last week with the 1st 2 games going to the Suns, we’ll preview tonight’s game 3 and the rest of the series going forward, as well as some Team USA basketball which started exhibition play yesterday vs Nigeria. We also saw the Fury/Wilder heavyweight trilogy get postponed due to the infamous Covid-19 virus that doesn’t seem to wanna go away. And we’ll look into this upcoming Saturday’s bout between Jermell Charlo and Brian Castaño for the chance to be the 1st ever undisputed champion at 154lbs in the 4 belt era. We also found out which NFL team will be represented on this years season of Hard Knocks starting August 10 on HBO. And with NFL training camps starting July 27 for most teams, we’ll look at who we each want to see stand out. And with the question being brought up this week in a Pat Mahomes ESPN appearance, I find out if the crew thinks it’s way too early to compare Pat and Tom the same way we do MJ and LeBron.
But as always, let’s start off with what we saw last night between Conor and Dustin.
