Here on The Shenanigans Sports Podcast, our goal is to entertain you. Now some stuff may make you laugh and some stuff may make you mad but hopefully, it makes you feel some type of way, as we debate our opinions on what’s hot in the world of sports entertainment.
Some of you may be joining us for the first time and are wondering to yourselves, why should I listen to these clowns they ain’t played pro, they ain’t coached, and are probably completely un-educated in this world.
To you I say this, as lifelong working class fans of the greatest teams and athletes of all time, who better to give honest and unfiltered opinions on today’s stars?
And with that being said fellas, what a time. It’s Sunday June 13, and we had us a week. Last week we saw the 2nd round of the NBA Playoffs get started and regular season awards handed out, we saw Floyd Mayweather beat Logan Paul in a controversial bout that could end up being his final time in the ring, we saw some NFL OTA action featuring Julio Jones sporting a new uni and number, we saw the GWOT in MMA action for the first time, we saw a UFC middleweight title fight between Israel Adesanya and Marvin Vettori, as well as a 130lb bout in boxing with Shakur Stevenson and Jeremiah Nakathila and even a celebrity match between Lamar Odom and Aaron Carter.
So fellas, let’s kick off todays show with this fully loaded fight weekend we just witnessed starting with the UFC PPV between Adesanya and Vettori.
