Description

Living in the same place for years and being treated like a foreigner because of your appearance… We live here, we consume here. Prices are exorbitant, and immigrants often leave a significant amount of money in their host countries. It's more of a business from the start.

Plus, we can't buy anything in the city because they constantly try to scam us… Barcelona, being an intercultural city, I'd say the only real measure is to end the thief mentality. Stop scamming tourists, or even immigrants.

They charge me double for a coffee if I speak English with a friend, and the person charging the fee doesn't speak Spanish or integrate, but has the money to rent a space and set up a shitty business to scam me.

Who rents or sells these spaces is the core of the problem… It all comes down to money and property, and this dynamic makes the cruelest and shittiest people powerful, and it shows.

Society is in decline due to centralized, greedy, and useless homeowners' associations and the aporophobic and xenophobic regulations implemented, endangering the existence of workers and citizens.
