This was supposed to be a game when the regular starters from the side were rested. And yet, Mo Salah played a 100 minutes in a dead rubber and by the end of the game, Andy Robertson, Jordan Henderson, Sadio Mane, Bobby Firmino were all on the pitch making Jurgen Klopp look absolutely hypocritical when it came to him criticising the fixture list. A game where VAR played a role (albeit quite non-controversial in my opinion) and where debutant Leighton Clarkson stood out for us ended 1-1 with Salah's early goal equalised by a penalty for the hosts.
This Raw Reactions episode is mostly ranting about Klopp's team selection with some happiness at Trent Alexander-Arnold's first CL game as captain and the performance of some of the players (although that fell off a cliff in the second half). Check it out!
