Playoffs, no promotions and relegations, salary caps, drafts and why are Canadian teams in the MLS if it's an American league? Major League Soccer is an entity that is almost alien in nature to someone only familiar with European football. But that isn't always a bad thing. Or is it? With this weekend playing host to the MLS Cup Final between the Seattle Sounders and Columbus Crew, it's a good chance for me to sit down with Alberto Brown, a native New Yorker, and discuss all things US Soccer - from the failings of the men's national team to whether or not playoffs and drafts are a good thing.

A cliched title it may be to the episode but there is nothing cliched about what was discussed. Do listen to it and hopefully you guys enjoy the episode as much as we did when we recorded it!
