Description

In this episode I get really personal with you and share the story of our daughter who was born with a heart defect and the journey of faith that we went through as we waited for her to be born.

Hey welcome to my very first solo episode. Today I would really like to share with you something that God has been speaking to my heart. It is something that I have recently been walking through and am still, and it has to do with courage.

2 types of courage:

1. The ability to do something that frightens one; bravery, to do something that scares you.  2. Strength in the face of pain or grief, in the face of uncertainty.

1. Courage in the Stretch -  to take ground, move forward, advance.

Isaiah 41:10

“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

2. Courage in the Stumble

I share about the diagnosis of our first born child in utero and the miracle we received.

Psalm 37:23-24

“The Lord makes firm the steps of the one who delights in him; though he may stumble, he will not fall, for the Lord upholds him with his hand.”

“I have NEVER seen the righteous forsaken or their children begging bread.” Psalm 37:25

3. Courage in the Stroll

Ephesians 6:10-13

Keep reading the word, worshipping, drawing closer to God, listening to great sermons, stay connected with godly people, read faith-building books. So that when the stretch and the stumble comes, your automatic response will be, “But God.”
