Amy was searching for an opportunity that would take her away from her families rules and requirements. She loved them, they were great, but she couldn't help the mounting desire to be away from them, to be her own person, and out from under the conviction her church brought. One day a co- worker told her about a military opportunity. THIS WAS IT! The military was honorable, but would also be sure to take her far far away. She spoke to a recruiter and some time later found herself aboard a ship on her first deployment to the Middle East. This was exactly the opportunity she was looking for ... or was it? Amy speaks openly and vulnerably about the realities of her quest and ultimately what changed everything for her. She had all the knowledge of God from growing up hearing about him from the time she was 18 months old, but the revelation that changed everything was a simple beautiful truth despite EVERYTHING she had done wrong she realized, GOD LOVES ME.
