A first time missionary to Kenya East Africa, Tom found himself in situations that were overwhelming to say the least! Interrogated by the CID( Kenyas FBI), a missionary under his leadership TAKEN from his church by two government officials, mixed counsel in a foreign country about who he could trust;all the while not having any idea where this unprecedented assault was coming from or how to navigate it properly! Tom felt like he was in a high stakes poker game with all of the 13 years of missionary investment on the table. He was left not knowing the rules or what cards to play.
