Whew! This one can hit home if we are honestly able to introspect. Most of us spend all, if not more, than we make. Parkinson’s Law is expressed in lots of ways in our common talk and this saying is a good one to consider.
Even for those who have a good income, pay cash for things, have a respectively good net worth, etc. it is worthwhile to question how much liquidity is available for “cattle” or anything else we may want or need to do. Is our capital locked up somewhere? At risk? Incurring fees? Being Taxed?
There’s a better way. Become your own banker.
