5 things you need more than a website.
As a mentor for new and rising coaches, I often get asked “Do I need a website?”
And here’s what I have to say….
There is a time and place for having a website, and having one has served me, but only because I had these 5 things in place first.
Let’s dive in.
1. A Niched Target Audience. There is no point having a website if you don’t know who it is clearly and specifically that you are helping in your business. The current situation they are in, the challenges they face and the results they desire. Get clear first.
2. A Core Offer. Your website won’t do you any favours in terms of growing your business if you don’t have an offer that you are selling. Create an offer, and get really really sold on it. Fall in love with it, and know how to attract and convert people to it, before considering creating a website.
3. An Aligned Marketing Strategy. Without a strategy in place attracting your ideal clients, your website will generate pretty low traction. You want a strategy that brings people to you, looking for more. You need tactics in place that will get people clicking on sales pages, freebies and offers on your site. Get that sorted first.
4. A Soulful Sales Strategy. Don’t know how to build relationships and convert them into high quality clients? Your website won’t help either then. Learn how to sell to make bringing people to your website, worthwhile.
5. A strong mindset. If you have internal blocks and fears about your offer, audience, marketing or pricing - then having a website won’t do you any favours. You will lose people before they even get there. Mastering your mindset is key to success.
