Energy sources such as full-fat soy or corn must be hydrothermally treated during processing. This is the only way to change pollutants or substances that are difficult to digest in order to make them easily digestible for the animal. Here, our AMANDUS KAHL Expander comes into play for this process. We have been using this for several decades to hydrothermally process individual components that are difficult to digest. It can be used either at the end of production to produce expandate or before pelleting to optimize both the pelleting process and the end product.
