Description

Thank you for listening today.

As a follow up to our previous episode where co-host Edie Tolbert introduced her Business Bestie Jennifer Edwards, we continue introductions. In this episode, Jennifer introduces Edie. You will learn about how and why Edie made the decision to open a spa and how to she arrived at the choice to also be the founder of a non-profit organization. Her story is remarkable. There is so much information in here whether you are a cancer survivor, currently undergoing treatment or are a business owner. Edie covers so much territory in this episode, you're going to want to get out a pen and paper to take notes. There are so many gold nuggets of wisdom in her words and experience.

Edie Tolbert and Jennifer Edwards are Business Besties. This podcast is dedicated to all things business owners.

Co-host Edie Tolbert is both a business owner and the founder of a non-profit with the goal of making a difference until there's a cure (for cancer). She opened Stonebrook Day Spa with a  vision to provide professional spa services to the general public and for the proceeds from those services to provide free oncology massage and other services to those experiencing cancer treatment. Because the need was greater than the funding, she also founded The Stonebrook Project - a non-profit organization designed to support the free services she is providing at the spa. If you missed it, go to episode 2 and listen to Edie talk about her cancer journey, the crazy idea to open the spa and how intently she listens and responds to the voice of the Holy Spirit.

More about your co-hosts......

Co-host Jennifer Edwards has been an entrepreneur for 25 years. Her experience led her to open a coaching & consulting firm in 2017. She named her company Direction, LLC. Since the beginning, her heart has been for female Christian business owners. Her business has evolved and she now not only offers one-to-one coaching/consulting, but also biblically based vision sessions and Mastermind groups. The business services she provides are with a singular goal, to help people...help people. She believes no matter which services fit best for a client's business, they all serve to shorten the very expensive learning curve and help with the fact that 'it's lonely at the top'. As business owners, we all need a place to go where we are understood and feel like we belong. Oh, and it never hurts to be involved in something which helps you make more profit. If you didn't hear Edie's introduction of Jennifer, go to episode 1 where you learn a lot about her and hear from her own perspective why she pours into business owners.
