Was an absolute pleasure to have the chance to speak Dr Luke Beardon for this week's episode of the podcast. Luke's been a guest I've been trying to get on since the start of the year, finally made it happen! Luke has authored countless books, is a senior lecturer, researcher, and public speaker all around the topic of Autism. Some things I got to get Luke's thoughts on were the current life expectancy stats for autistic people in the UK, Autism in the Criminal Justice, the difference in how anxiety is experienced, and why the world insists on Autism being "The Problem" rather than the environment.
