Description

Henry Herr lives in Baltimore, Maryland and has spent his time working to get confederate monuments taken down or the towns that have them, renouncing their support for the confederacy. This has brought him to the Eastern Shore in Talbot County, where the last confederate statue stands on the courthouse grounds. Henry has been working for years, calling the Talbot County Council, sending emails, and even stating he would help pay for the removal of the statue. Listen as he explains what led him to fight for racial justice and why he's going to continue to use his white privilege to amplify voices of BIPOC and fight for anti-racism in Maryland.
