Chima talks about the journey that lead him from his church choir to the American Idol stage to scoring a distribution deal. He puts the guys on to how music writing and producing credits have been negotiated in his professional experience while in the music industry. He also gives us insight into his creative process as a solo artist and his process when in a duo. Chima also reflects on his time spend with his best friend and D and Chi band member Darren who was tragically lost due to covid complications. He explains how he’s dealt with the loss of a best friend and how he’s discovering the next chapter of his life and career. Sure there might be some great knowledge of the music business in this one but most importantly there is extremely important insight on the value of friendship, love and things that money will never buy.
