MITCH SHERMAN
He is the new Nebraska/Huskers staff writer for The Athletic, which is a digital-only sports journalism outlet. He spent eight years with ESPN after more than a decade with the Omaha World Herald. He will cover the Huskers and college sports mostly. He’s leaving the biggest sports media company to join what could still be considered a startup. (Interview conducted March 28, 2019)
