SESSION FORTY NINE - SLUMBER YE LONG DEAD - Standing in the now silent hideout of Haymare The Horrible. The Strange Ones find the stone room around them illuminated by ever burning torches that burn with a ghastly red color. The bloody beams of light cause the ceiling of the chamber to dance with golden shimmers as the grim light reflects off of the gold and silver piled upon the grand table before them. But even the bleak atmosphere and unsettling silence is made trivial by what lays at their feet. The Grim Cutlass of The Pirate Kings rests dormant on the cold stone tile. Its notched razor sharp blade speaks volumes of hushed whispers about the countless lives it has taken, the blood soaked grip wrecks of remorseless slaughter, and the enormous black pearl that rests on the pommel seems to swirl within like a looming storm. With battle concluded only one task remains for the party to complete their quest…to bring The Grim Cutlass to the ruling Pirate King, Lurtz Half Hand…
