SESSION SIX - Burned Bodies and Black Root Stoute - After crossing the border into Malkaria The Strange Ones traveled for several days before arriving in Zungar and finding it to be a burning ruin. Quickly the perceptive party discovered the carnage to be the aftermath of a great battle during which the Chieftain and most of his family were murdered and left on display to send a message to some previously unknown group called The Red Shadow. Upon entering the village, The Strange Ones met an old woman who claimed to be something called a Crone of Krotis and eventually decided to let her go about her “business” with the dead of the village. They then made their way to the Black River Inn and found several survivors hiding within the partially burned building. With there hopes of finding insight into the murder of Rthanax’s parents dwindling they now shift there focus to the malkar noble and the newborn child she grasps in her arms...
Hello and welcome to our Dungeons and Dragons Homebrew campaign. We are a close group of friends who have been playing Dungeons and Dragons together for over two years. We just started our second homebrew campaign “The War for Malkaria,” which takes place in the material world of Masathea roughly one hundred years after the events of our first homebrew campaign. Our cast currently consists of seven players:

Kyle - Rathanax the Orc Oath of Vengeance Paladin of Orthax.
Robbie - Allistaire Thanason, the Tiefling Celestial Warlock of Morgat.
Madison - Linvala Abernathy, the Human Oath of Redemption Paladin of Arathus.
Jeff - Valanor Quintelanar, the Elf Assassin Rogue.
Thaxton - Nicholas D. Altemor, the Half-Elf College of Lore Bard.
Jake - Merrel Ferrossa, the Human Artificer Armorer.
Alyson - Renalia Valreign, the Dragonborn Arcane Trickster Rogue.
