The tension between WCW and the nWo has hit a boiling point, and Roddy Piper wants to join the dance. In the main event of Uncensored '97, we have a convoluted three-team tag match. If team WCW wins, the nWo have to give up their belts and cannot wrestle in WCW for three years. If team nWo wins, their members get to fight for any belt they want at any time. If team Piper wins, Hogan's gotta face Rowdy for his title in a steel cage.
Two of those seem like really bad, irrational outcomes so Piper must be getting that title shot, right? Well.... at at least you'll forget about all of it when a certain Stinger comes down from the rafters.
