“We Need Peace” - words in graffiti I saw as I walked the Via Dolorosa, the “Way of Suffering,” taken by Jesus as he carried his cross through Jerusalem. Jesus lived, suffered and died, and rose again to life to bring us peace. Peace in the assurance the Lord is with us, even in the valleys (Psalm 23). Peace knowing the Lord will one day heal us and the whole creation (Isaiah 25:1-9). Peace that guards our hearts and minds when troubles come (Phil 4:4-8). We need the peace that Jesus brings, now and always.
