“The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not overcome it.” (John 1:5). John opens his Gospel with the awesome declaration that Christ Jesus is the light of the world, who gives us life, who is with us always, who shines with the grace of the Lord. May we reflect Christ’s glorious light.
