Description

Over 100 years ago in what is now Namibia, a genocide saw 80% of the Herero and 50% of the Nama ethnic populations killed by German colonialists.

Often known as Germany’s first Holocaust, the Africa 4 Dummies team talks to Prof Henning Melber from the Nordic-Africa Institute and member of SWAPO (Namibia’s ruling party) on how Germany and Namibia are dealing with their past and why youths should care about it.
