TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF.
Every act of genuine generosity pays; the generosity coming from a right disposition of heart. Generosity is not the public show of wealth or the giving out of one's excess resources in a bid to get disposed of them. Genuine act of generosity is carried out in a bid to share in the pain of the needy/beneficiary and/or the quest to participate in God's act of kindness towards the needy without expecting reward or recognition of any kind. Such generosity is inspired by love and communicates God's love. This is generosity done in imitation of God's benevolence, and it pays.
