Rosalyn Brown | Talks Financial Independence For Black Women, Being A Banker, Networking In College
Rosalyn Brown started her career in banking. Initially, it was simply a job that she found enjoyable but it later developed into a personal learning experience and a passion to help others. Her job advising others in their financial planning helped her realize just how few wealthy clients looked like her and how much horrible financial advice exists in the marketplace. Rosalyn began volunteering her time to help enlighten others on financial independence with a focus on black women. She started with a Facebook group called Black Women Pursuing FI, which grew to 2000 members in less than 3 months. That FB group eventually developed into a website and Youtube channel called Your Wealth Guidance (www.yourwealthguidance.com) where she provides financial coaching and connects people to various financial specialists. Through the Wealth Guidance Youtube channel, she presents a weekly Monday episode where she shares with our community information that will assist us as we work to close the wealth gap and advance on our own Financial Independence journey.
