In recent weeks there has been a continuning attack on the African-American community, from an Alabama newspaper calling for the KKK to invade Washington, D.C to a Rock Hill South Carolina school having 5th graders picking cotton. As we close out the shortest month of the year and Black History Month, we do have a silver lining, in the State of Nevada and the historic trend that it has repeated in securing both houses of government being led by African-Americans. It is only the second state, next to Colorado to do so. My guest tonight include, Speaker Jason Frierson, Asst. Majority Leader Daniele Monroe-Moreno, and Senate Majority Leader Kelvin Atkinson. We'll also have former D.C. City Councilmember Vincent Orange, Executive Director of Covenant House Washington, Dr. Madye Henson, and Political Strategist, Rebekah Caruthers, Ralph Chittams, Prof. Dr. Omekongo Dibinga, Financial Services Consultant, Kevin Kimble and Anthony Stewart, along with Anne Arundel County Constituent Services Director, Ms. Jenese Jones.
